What is the Advanced Consulting Group? Origins
Since the East Europe Block and USSR disintegration between 1989 and 1991, and the subsequent reforms in Cuba until 1994, Lolita and Rodolfo are opening to the world again. Since then, we have been studying intensively and thinking how to contribute the most to the development of our own country and the other southern countries with our unique experience, and have seen that Internet can give us a way to promote and even do this at a distance.
Background
We both have lived a unique cross-cultural influence of diverse western and eastern philosophies, ideologies, politics, and psychosocial behaviors toward life, family, community, society, economy, housing, building, wealth, poverty, health, disease, science, technology, infrastructure, and culture from the: Indo-American Natives, Spaniards-Moors, Africans, Caribbeans, Americans, and Western Europeans until 1958; Chinese, North Vietnamese and North Koreans, Soviets, and Eastern Europeans from 1959 to 1989; and the new Chinese, Russians, Spaniards, Western and Eastern Europeans, and Americans from 1990 to 2010.
Goals
The purpose of this research & consulting group is to contribute with an informal view, far from every political ideology and official governmental view, to the achievement of two main goals:
To reestablish with most of the 30 northern developed countries the most modern conventional and electronic possibilities of commerce, investements, and consumption in Cuba, as well as to increase also the presence in this effort of most of the southern countries To advice in the accomplishment of a balanced and sustainable social development to most of the 160 southern countries of Latin America-Caribbean, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, in education, health care, science and technology, and other social needs Services
This group provides consulting, marketing research & business planning services to building investors, specially in housing and urbanization, and to all the kinds of service investors and providers of products and services for Cuba, as well as strategic research, consulting & planning to education, health care, science and technology investors and providers, international stakeholders & donors, for any less developed country proportional and harmonious social sustainable development in the physical space and/or cyberspace through the Internet.
Means
The main means we have for the market research & business consulting are our Cuban daily life own experiences, our national and international information, very specially, of the United Nations Agencies, World Bank, Regional Organizations, and University Centers' development, living standards, production, commerce, services, and consumption indexes since the 1800s to 2010. We are two professionals that think to stay in Cuba, who understand very well the people that have been growing in Cuba and emigrating from Cuba in the last half-century, and at the same time, want to help how fix the wrong things that have been done in all the epochs.
In the same way the main means for the social & welfare strategic research and consulting are our same Cuban daily life experiences, our national and world information, very specially, of the United Nations Agencies and Regional Organizations, and University Centers' education, health care, science, and technology indexes since the 1800s to 2010, as well as all the information of the international NGOs and GOs related with them, accesible through the search engines in web sites and email of Internet.
From 2000 to 2010, we have been doing this work through the Internet, due to difficulties to travel and work in more advanced countries with possibilities to find world information. In the future, we hope to continue doing this through other ICTs, personal exchanges at Havana, and/or in other cities overseas.
Principle
The main strategic principle that guides our work is that in a southern country till this moment, there have not been a balanced and sustainable social development, without an autochthonous balanced and sustainable market economic growth and genuinely democratic socio-political progress of some kind.
